IEEE Hosts Customer Focused Seminar in London
Last month, IEEE hosted a day-long seminar with select customers at London South Bank University to share news about upcoming IEEE features and get feedback on current IEEE programs. The event, attended by 28 individuals representing 21 unique IEEE customers, allowed IEEE to highlight new products and receive valuable opinions regarding future directions for IEEE. The day also gave attendees the opportunity to network with other IEEE customers and IEEE staff.
While this was the first event of its kind to be held in London – similar events occur regionally within North America about twice a year. Many customers at the event commented on the useful and customer-friendly information provided. From this event, IEEE was able to gather invaluable customer opinions and suggestions, which will allow IEEE Xplore to develop along with its customers and continue to offer relevant technological information in the most convenient ways.
